The wonder that is Sinupret_Flu remedy

Lil' muachi had another round of flu recently. This time it was worse than the first. Her blocked nose would not clear. And she had this annoying phlegm that would not go away.

I tried the usual cough and flu syrup prescribed by the Dr but she wouldn't get any better. She woke up a few times in the night. She was agitated. I was seriously at a lost until my sis-in-law introduced this medication called Sinupret.

Sinupret is a herbal supplement which is commonly used for coughs, colds, sinus infections and allergies.

It worked wonders for Lil' muachi.

Unfortunately, it is not available in Malaysia. I read that it's very popular in Europe and has started gaining interest in US. It is sold in Singapore should you wish to get your hands on this little miracle worker.

LMM Baby Steps:
1) Find a way to get hold of Sinupret
2) Read the instructions properly eg specified amount to specific ages
3) Pour syrup onto the cap like cup (which comes with measurements)
4) Use syringe to draw the syrup
5) Slowly push the syrup out to bub's mouth bit by bit, between pauses to ensure that bub has swallowed

LMM Advice: If your bub has phlegm and blocked nose, it is good to give her a hot bath. It loosens mucus and it is rather soothing I think. Lil' muachi was not too fussed on Sinupret. It is sweet and does not taste like medication.
Hokkien Corner: Sinupret costs around S$18. Not expensive at all for something that is pretty effective. I would grab one to store in case of emergency. With the weather and viruses that are going around these days, you'll never know when you'll need it.
