Jotting down Bub's Height

I never really thought about marking lil' muachi's height as she grows up.

I mean I've seen it in movies where people pencil marked their walls as their kid grows taller. Mostly, I've seen them having to move out from their childhood homes and their markings being painted over or knocked down.

I was lucky enough to have received a foam made measuring ruler when lil' muachi came along. The ruler itself looks like a kid decor.

But most importantly, I can keep jotting down her growth and take the ruler with us wherever we may go.

I don't know what or how the ruler with markings will do for us in future.

But I am having fun dating down lil' muachi's growth. And so is lil' muachi.

Vicks BabyBalsam

I know everyone is probably familiar with Vicks.

But did you know that the blue bottle VapoRub that we use is only for children aged 2 years and above?

For kids, Vicks has a pink cover bottle branded as BabyBalsam.

I have tried it on lil' muachi and it is definitely gentler. I would avoid using the Adult Vicks on young children. It is way too harsh on their skin.

Vicks is definitely great when your child has the flu. You just need to rub it on the little one's chest and back; and hopefully the Vicks formula will provide some nasal relief.

However, Lil' muachi's favorite is still the "asian oil" (pic as below).

You can read more about it in my earlier post:

Hmm: celebrations

Dear Readers,

Thank you for leaving your comments. I know I haven't been updating my blog much. But I have been busy with long leaves during the Christmas-year end celebrations of 2012.

I am currently juggling heavy workload at office (budget time!) and am in the midst of penning down another article for ParenThots. All very exciting.

I do intend to update this blog more frequently. There has been numerous restaurants and products that lil' muachi has tried. So I hope you will continue to visit my blog.

For now, I'll leave you with two pictures of lil' muachi all grown up over Christmas last year
