Glorious Fan - the cooling agent

Lil' muachi is a sweaty baby. It doesn't help that we are living in KL. Apart from making sure that she gets enough water, I have invested in a number of fans for her.

Here we have our room fan. This is the mother of all fans and lil' muachi's absolute fav. She would wake up, look up and smile at it. Somehow I think she finds some form of comfort in this rotating machine.

Then we moved on to the portable fans with clips. This little invention is a savior. You need to just turn the switch on, clip it wherever and your bub will be able to enjoy the breeze. Although if the weather is hot, you just get hot air. Plus you need to place it fairly near the bub.

Next stop, we found this little gadget. It is a bit more mobile. To spin the blades, you need to press the little button. It gets pretty tiring after a while. But it's fun for lil' muachi, requires less batteries and it is stronger breeze-wise. I got her a similar M&M portable fan but it mysteriously disappeared.

LMM Advice: Go with the fan with the huge clip. It is light and it works.
Hokkien Corner: Do not even bother with the cheaper version fan. The blades will go out of shape faster. Bubs like to poke at the blades. Some will yank and pinch. To them it's a moving toy. So make sure it's out of reach or be prepared for those tiny deathly hands which are sure to shorten the life span of the fan.

For me, to ensure that lil' muachi never goes without a breeze, I have also bought a paper fan. Batteries not required. Perfect.
